Granted, there's one episode left, but I'm confident in my review: WATCH THIS SERIES!
If you like: Drama, political intrigue, Sean Bean, sex, back stabbing, war, an imp/half-man with a wicked sense of humor and more brains than 3/4 of the rest of the characters, and overall compelling storytelling, then this is the series for you!
If you don't like surprises then this is NOT the series for you.

I've been hearing so much about Game of Thrones. I'm half-tempted to try to track down the book!
The books are epic 1000+ pages each, with a LOT of characters and houses and cities. I'm grateful HBO wittled it down! Though I have to say, once I watch the finale, I'm going to read as much about book one (Game of Thrones) as I can! I'm sure there's stuff I missed.
I think Wednesday reviews like this are great because they let fans re-explore shows like Game of Thrones from different perspectives, especially now that storytelling standards have changed so much. It’s interesting how much impact voice and narration can have on audience experience. That’s why many creators now choose to publish audiobook versions of their work to reach listeners in a more engaging way. Have you noticed how audio storytelling is becoming more popular too?
