This has been an incredibly busy week. Work, work work, flight, sign in for conference, crash in room. It's been a great week, though, and I'm really glad I came.

As I posted last week, Dark Desires of the Druids II: Sex and Subterfuge received a 4.5 cherry review from the Whipped Cream side of Long and Short Reviews. Today I found out that it's also Book of the Week!

I also appreciated the research that must have gone into this book to make everything so true to the time period. I respect the author’s time taken to get it right.

I suppose one day I'll be blasé about reviews, but not yet. Not for a while, either, I'm thinking! They give me a thrill that someone liked my books. That, while I love writing and won't stop, this person saw what I was trying to do with the story and got it. Makes it all worth while!
